President Zhao gave a keynote speech at the meeting entitled "Striding forward under the banner of EDRI" Conveyed the spirit of CEC2009 cadre working conference, summarized the main progress and the main problems in 2008, put forward the thinking of the work in 2009 and made the working arrangement. In his report, President Zhao briefly reviewed the reform and development of EDRI in the past eight years, and divided it into three periods, namely: business development period, restructuring and development period, adjustment and development period. He concluded by quoting President Hu Jintao's speech at the 30th Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in commemoration of the 30th Plenary Session of the CPC: "Our achievements have been recorded in the annals of history, and new and even more daunting tasks lie ahead of us. Our cause is noble and sacred, our prospects are bright and beautiful, and our responsibilities are great and glorious." In 2009, we will enter a new era in history. Let us follow the correct path as directed by the General Secretary and go forward unswervingly. Let us go forward with one heart and soul and strive for the arrival of another development peak in EDRI.
